The 9th International Film Festival on Crafts will be held from 7 to 9 March 2014 at the Corum Conference Centre in Montpellier. As part of the shortlisting process for the festival, we are looking for films about the craft professions and the different materials used: clay, wood, glass, paper, feathers, textiles, leather, etc. Numerous themes may be covered: profiles of artists and craftsworkers, techniques, architecture, heritage, archaeology, ethnology, performance, etc. Films of all lengths and genres are eligible: documentaries, reports, fictional, animation or experimental films. In order to be included in the competition, the films must have been made since 2005. Older films may be shown out of competition. At the end of the screenings, six cash prizes will be awarded by an international jury. Would you like to submit a film for shortlisting? |
