2014 Festival

The International Film Festival on Clay and Glass, created by Ateliers d'Art de France in 1998, is becoming the International Film Festival on Crafts in 2014!

This new format will feature around 40 films from all over the world and reveal the immense diversity of techniques used in the craft professions: clay, glass, wood, metal, leather, textiles, paper and many others besides...

The 9th edition of the festival will cover all craft professions: directors, producers,

amateurs or professionnals, sent us your film right now !

The 9th International Film Festival on Crafts will be held from 7 to 9 March 2014 at the Corum Conference Centre in Montpellier. As part of the shortlisting process for the festival, we are looking for films about the craft professions and the different materials used: clay, wood, glass, paper, feathers, textiles, leather, etc. Numerous themes may be covered: profiles of artists and craftsworkers, techniques, architecture, heritage, archaeology, ethnology, performance, etc. Films of all lengths and genres are eligible: documentaries, reports, fictional, animation or experimental films. In order to be included in the competition, the films must have been made since 2005. Older films may be shown out of competition. At the end of the screenings, six cash prizes will be awarded by an international jury.
